Dr. Nichole Agarwal

A California native, Dr. Nichole Agarwal graduated with her pre-veterinary degree from Cal Poly, Pomona, California. She then went on to complete and obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her license at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. She then went on to complete an internship in emergency medicine at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in La Mesa, CA and has been practicing small animal medicine for 12 years in southern California. Dr. Agarwal grew up riding horses and comes from a long line of cat “collectors”. She has treated dogs and cats for 12 years and has always had a special interest in feline medicine. She recently joined the team and is very excited to be able to practice in a species-parity environment where cats are not neglected.  When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Agarwal is very active in her community. She organizes and chairs a large breast cancer fundraiser in downtown Riverside. She is also a mom of 2 children and 3 furry friends, a celebrity fat cat named Biggie and two dogs named Dixie and Reyna.

Dr. Ayaka Barias

Dr. Ayaka Barias (Dr. Aya) is a first-generation Japanese from Irvine, California. She graduated from the University of California (UCI), Irvine in 2009 with a Chemistry major and a minor in Biology. After graduating from UCI, she went on to obtain her registered veterinary technician (R.V.T.) license at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California for the Registered Veterinary Technician program. Upon completion of her R.V.T. program, she was accepted to the prestigious Western University of Health Sciences for Veterinary School in Pomona, California in the graduating class of 2017. She brings with her the latest cutting-edge medicine and positive enthusiasm for the profession. She loves general practice because of the long-lasting relationships we build with our clients and patients. Aside from being a veterinarian, Dr. Aya is a newlywed and has a motorcycle license and a license to teach Japanese Calligraphy. She also loves to cuddle with her cat, T’Challa.
