Registered Veterinary Technician, Room Supervisor

Maria received her RVT license from Carrington College. Prior to that, she attended Humboldt State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Zoology.

Maria’s love for animals and passion for veterinary medicine led her to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. She finds great fulfillment in helping animals feel better and loved. Maria’s most memorable experience in her profession was when she helped treat a patient who ultimately found a loving home after a long and tedious treatment process.

Maria enjoys visiting amusement parks outside of work, including Disneyland and Universal Studios. She also has a strong interest in classic horror movies and enjoys collecting records.

Veterinary Assistant

Cecilia joined our Arrow Dog and Cat Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant, driven by her lifelong passion for animal care. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Cal State University, Fullerton, Cecilia felt her true calling was in veterinary medicine. She is currently enrolled in the RVT program at Mt. San Antonio College and is eager to deepen her expertise. Cecilia's career in the veterinary field started with her wanting to find daily joy in her work, beginning as a kennel attendant and working her way up. She aspires to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), reflecting her profound commitment to animal health and welfare.

Beyond her professional ambitions, Cecilia is the devoted pet parent to two beloved terrier mixes, Uriel and Anakin, who brighten her every day. An outdoor enthusiast, she relishes exploring new hiking trails and values quality time with her family, friends, and her furry companions. With her Associate's Degree in Animal Science from Platt College, she has always shown a commitment to animal care. Ashley's love for animals was kindled in childhood, and she was surrounded by chickens, rabbits, and dogs, which shaped her career aspirations from an early age. Her hands-on experience with various animals has equipped her with a unique perspective on veterinary care. Ashley is a proud pet parent to Luna, a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix known for her impressive array of tricks. When not at work, Ashley values quality time with her family, explores the great outdoors through hiking, and embraces the vibrant energy of music festivals.

Currently pursuing his college education with aspirations of becoming a DVM, Brandon has deep roots in the local community, having resided in the area since birth.

Brandon’s journey in the veterinary field was sparked by his profound passion for animals and the desire to make a positive impact in their lives. Helping animals brings him great joy, and witnessing their growth and resilience in the face of challenges is particularly rewarding for him.

The moment Brandon realized he had found his calling came when he started volunteering at the hospital as part of a high school project. The genuine excitement he felt when waking up to dedicate his time to caring for animals solidified his conviction that he was in the right profession.

Beyond his work at the hospital, Brandon cherishes the company of his loving family, which includes his parents and two sisters. His household is enriched by the presence of three dogs, four cats, and a lively flock of 25 chickens. Outside of his veterinary endeavors, Brandon’s interests revolve around cars, socializing with friends, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Veterinary Assistant

Olivia Hanley is a Veterinary Assistant at Arrow Dog and Cat Hospital, where she began her journey in June 2022. Born and raised in Upland, Olivia pursued her passion for animals by attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where she is currently working towards her B.S. in Animal Science, set to graduate in March 2024.

Olivia’s love for animals has been a lifelong inspiration, as she grew up surrounded by her own 12 beloved pets. Her interest in the veterinary field led her to start her Animal Science degree in the fall of 2020 and gain valuable experience through an equine internship in 2021. Her favorite aspect of working with animals is creating meaningful connections with the pets and their owners and being instrumental in aiding their recovery.

Even after a 13-hour workday, Olivia’s excitement to return to work the next day reaffirmed that she had found her true calling in the veterinary profession. Outside of her work at the hospital, Olivia enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her two younger brothers, mom, and dad. Her hobbies include going to the movies and writing movie reviews. At home, she cares for her own furry and scaly family, which includes two rabbits, three dogs, seven tortoises, and a vibrant collection of fish.

Veterinary Assistant

Alejandra joined the Arrow team in August 2023, but her love of the veterinary field dates back to when she was eight years old and accompanied the family dog to their first vet visit. She graduated with an associate degree in veterinary assisting from Platt College and plans to continue her education and eventually obtain her Registered Veterinary Technician license. Alejandra’s pets include three cats and two dogs. One of the cats is called Cookie, as her black and white coloring is reminiscent of an Oreo. In her free time, Alejandra loves attending music festivals, hiking, and camping with her family.

Customer Service Representative

Devin joined the Arrow Dog & Cat team in June 2024 and brings many years of experience as a veterinary technician and receptionist with her. Working with animals has always been a natural calling for Devin, and she values the chance to be an advocate for our animal friends. Devin enjoys diving into medieval history, true crime, and comedy when she's not at work and can almost always be found listening to a podcast or music. She loves time with friends but is primarily a homebody who loves cooking and gardening—frequent visits to the farmers’ markets and new restaurants are her passion and inspiration!

Devin’s fur family consists of one cat, a feisty little fellow named Mit. Devin hand-raised Mit and bottle-fed him from the time he was tiny. Now older, Mit enjoys knocking things off shelves and chewing on whatever plastic he can get his paws on.

Practice Manager

Tina has always been a lover of animals, and being able to work with dogs and cats every day is a dream come true for her. She enjoys getting to know the different personalities and breeds of animals, as well as learning about diseases and treatments. Tina knew that working at Arrow Dog and Cat Hospital was the right profession for her when she started seeing all the dogs and cats that come in for care and got to know their owners. She also values the knowledge she gains from the doctor and staff that helps her take better care of her own pets.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, four adult children, and two dogs. She also likes traveling, quilting, and doing crafts in her free time.
