We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Jacob Ruiz, who has been a valued team member at our hospital since 2016. This year, he graduated with high honors from the esteemed Western University College of Veterinary Medicine and passed his national boards early and with excellence.
Dr. Ruiz brings a superior level of knowledge, skill, and compassion to every case. His professional interests include dermatology, emergency medicine, surgery, ultrasound, and cardiology. He is also currently training in exotic animal medicine and surgery under the head zoo veterinarian of Orange County, preparing our hospital to soon welcome reptiles, pocket pets, and even wildlife.
During veterinary school, Dr. Ruiz trained closely under Dr. Nichole Weinstein, gaining hands-on experience and refining his clinical skills. We are confident that once you meet Dr. Ruiz, you’ll see why he’s quickly becoming a favorite among our clients.
